Michael Clary
Lead Pastor

Michael grew up dreaming of one day being a professional recording artist and songwriter. But God had other plans. He and his wife, Laura, worked as missionaries to college students before Michael sensed a call to urban church planting. This sense of calling grew while Michael was attending the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. The Clary’s made it official by moving to Cincinnati in 2008 to plant Christ the King Church. They live in Uptown with their four kids and dog.

Michael is also the Cincinnati area director for the Acts 29 network. If you are interested in being trained in pastoral ministry or church planting, send Michael an email and he will get back to you with next steps.

Jason Hudson
Worship Pastor

Jason remembers his aunt laying a bass guitar on his lap when he could barely reach around the neck to push the strings. Since those early experiences learning to fumble through basic chord progressions, he has tried to use music to glorify God and serve the church. He now hopes to start his own family band with his wife, Danielle (soulful vocals), and his three children, Soren (drums), Eden (lead guitar), and Raine (bass).

Cameron Waterworth
Family & Discipleship Pastor

Cameron was born and raised in NE Arkansas and attended Arkansas State University for his undergrad. He met his Meredith through a family friend and we got married right before his senior year of college. Cameron completed his seminary degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. They spent a number of years in Washington, DC to be a part of a young church plant. Their first child, Benjamin, was born in September of 2020 and they have a 5 year old Pomsky, Evey. Towards the end of 2020, the Lord opened up the opportunity for them to take part in the work at CTK. Cameron enjoys making/drinking “third wave coffee”, reading, and exploring the city with his family.
